Back in the day, a fun-size candy bar was the kind of stuff we found in our baskets of Halloween candy. Now, it’s taken on a life of its own—especially when it comes to subcompact hot hatches among which the Ford Fiesta ST competes. At the Geneva Auto Show this month, a new iteration of this diminutive beast was unveiled.
While it doesn’t look too different from the Fiesta we know and love, the more aggressive mesh pattern on the upper and lower grille, as well as the wheels and window tints are a dead giveaway that this car has received the “Ford Performance” touch. Under the hood is a new face—a 1.5-liter EcoBoost three-banger making 197 horsepower at full boost. While the three-cylinder set up was done to lower emissions, it will also see a bump in gas mileage.
Set to launch at the beginning of next year, we can’t wait to offer it to our drivers here in Baytown, TX. If you’re looking for something a bit more pedestrian (but no less exciting), our new Ford inventory is available online for your browsing pleasure.
