Design

The 2021 Ford Ranger looks the part, thanks to a tough, black painted, metal front and rear bumper along with running boards and black cladding on each wheel well. You'll also have two cab styles to choose from depending on your needs, and the bed offers ample space for your cargo-hauling needs.

Performance

The new 2021 Ford Ranger comes with a 2.3-liter EcoBoost turbocharged four-cylinder engine that delivers 270 horsepower and 310 pound-feet of torque. With both rear-wheel drive and 4x4 models available, you can tackle whatever terrain lies ahead with confidence, and the 26 mpg highway means it's not a terrible commuter pickup either.

Capability

This new Ford Ranger's low weight means it is an absolute monster off road, with that 310 pound-feet of torque having no issues getting you over the rough stuff. Plus, the elevated ride height and available off-road package gives you even more capability to head off the beaten path. Plus, the new Ford Ranger can tow up to 7,500 pounds when properly equipped, so towing a boat or camper is no tough task for this truck.

Technology

You'll find plenty of tech inside the new Ford Ranger that allows it to easily keep up with the modern SUVs of the world. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capability, built-in navigation, and even the FordPass Connect WiFi and smartphone remote functions are available on the new Ranger pickup.

Safety

There is a great deal of safety to be had with the new Ford Ranger as well, including forward collision alert, pedestrian detection, and automatic emergency braking. Plus, you can add the Blind-Spot Information System with trailer coverage to help make towing easier than ever.
